Homework is given out and it is on the website. It is optional, however I would love to see what you create!
Spellings are given out on a Friday and are tested the following Friday. New spellings are stuck into spelling books with the score written on the previous page.
Changing reading books - books are changed on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday (where possible). Please remember to sign your child's reading record so we know when books need changing.

We will be looking at the history of toys, what materials they are made of and the naughty toy box poem! We will also be looking at the three little pigs and the materials used to build houses.
This term we will be writing instructions on how to make a sock puppet, we will then make the sock puppet and perform using these to the Year 6s!
In class this week, toys showed up in our classroom with notes on them! After unscrambling the note, we realised the toys were asking for help! We followed the arrows and found a naughty toy box who was gobbling up toys! We created warning signs to go around the toy box, and learnt the poem 'The naughty toy box'. We are going to write letters to ask him to be kinder to the toys!
The next few weeks we are learning about the three little pigs!
We've thought about the best material to build a house with! We created some; have a look below!
This term we are learning all about Great Creations such as Brunel's bridges, travel and transport, humans and animals. We are excited to invite the 'Blast from the past' man in as Brunel to complete some activities with the children. We are also going to visit the Tamar Bridge and learn about the history of this great creation.
Some photos from our busy time; we have a train station home corner and have been making trains using paper straws!
