School Induction
On Tuesday the 16th June 2020 at 6.30pm, Miss Bristow the Foundation Classroom Teacher invited parents to a school induction. This was delivered virtually through Zoom and it was an opportunity to learn more about our school and the Early Years Foundation Stage. If you were unable to attend the meeting then you can find out more about what was discussed by looking at the presentation below. During the week of the 22nd June 2020, Miss Bristow will contact you on the telephone. This will be an opportunity to get to know information about your child.

Getting Ready For School
The transition to school for your child will look different this year due to the pandemic. However there are things you can do at home now and in the next few months to prepare your child for their school start. Click on the links below to look at the 'Foundation Fun' and 'Foundation Starting School' booklets.
Miss Bristow will create an account for you to use on Tapestry. Throughout the academic year we will use Tapestry to document your child's development in Foundation. In preparation for starting school in September 2020, you and your child can watch videos of Miss Bristow reading well known stories on Tapestry. We hope this will help your child to become familiar with their class teacher.
