Things to Remember
The children will need to wear PE kits on a Wednesday and Thursday. If your child is wearing either school shoes or trainers to school with laces then where possible, please support them at home to learn how to tie their own laces independently.
Each day, the children should have a bag or book bag in school with their reading record and their school reading books. Please initial or comment in your child's reading record when you have listened to them read at home. Children should be reading their Read Write Inc book bag book three times per week. The children should be reading their Read Write Inc book that they have shared in school with you at home through Oxford Owl. The storybook that your child brings home should be read by an adult to the child. The school reading books will be changed once a week. We will continue with the 'Book Worm' challenge and the children can continue from where they finished at the end of Year 1.
Where possible, please label your child's belongings so they can be reunited when lost.
