Year 3 Homework Diary

Reading: Please ensure your child is reading at least 3 or more times a week. This can be done independently or with an adult. Adults can support, if done independently, by asking questions about what they’ve just read. This will help their comprehension and understanding of what they have read.

Maths: When the children come to Year 3 they should have a good understanding of 2, 5 and 10 times tables. The expectation in Year 3 is they leave with a solid understanding of 3, 4, and 8 times tables.

We shall be using TT Rockstars to further their enthusiasm towards times tables. The link is below. In addition I will send out games that will help develop their knowledge of times tables and division facts through the year.

Here are some maths links that we have used in class for you to use at home!
Below is your choice of home learning for the Summer Term. This is an optional piece of homework that will be displayed and dojo points awarded for completion! If you wish to create your own work about the Stone Age that is also welcomed. I look forward to seeing your creativity!
Can all homework please be completed for the week beginning - 18th June 2018.
Spellings will be given out each week on Friday and children will bring these home in their Spelling Journal.

The spellings will be tested the following Friday and their spelling test score shall be recorded in their Spelling Journal with any words they got particularly wrong written in.
